Borescope

Borescope Cavity Wall Insulation Check

We can check with a borescope that your property's cavity wall insulation has been installed. This ensures that your home is properly insulated and that the cost to heat your home is not excessively expensive. This crucial construction stage is often missed by developers and building inspectors during construction. Optional for traditional brick and block built FOG, coach houses, and houses only.

Thermal Imaging Photography

We can use an infrared thermal imaging camera to take photographs of external and internal walls, radiators, and windows to identify cold spots and areas of heat loss. This establishes if walls aren't sufficiently insulated, if radiators need bleeding, and if windows are keeping heat within your property. Optional for all property types except walls are not photographed externally for apartments, and walls are not photographed externally during the summertime for all other property types.

Window Measurements

We can measure your window opening dimensions with a laser measure, which is more accurate than reading measurements from a tape measure. This service is suitable alongside the Pre-Completion Inspection because you can order blinds, curtains, and shutters before you move into your new home using the measurements that we've taken for you. It is also suitable for this reason alongside our flagship Snagging Inspection when you've just completed on your new home.

You can also receive a bound hard copy of your inspection report posted to your address as an optional add-on!

We will check all accessible external and internal areas of your new home.

  • Floors, walls, and ceilings.

  • Fenestration (external doors and windows).

  • External areas within your property's boundary.

Note that some of the above construction aspects listed may not apply to your home depending on the type of property you own and the inspection service that we carry out. Areas of your home that are not listed, but are accessible will be checked, unless otherwise stated in our terms and conditions

Discount Bundle Inspections Packages

We understand that our customers often want to book multiple different inspections prior to and during their warranty period. That's why we offer a 10% discount off our normal prices if you book two inspections in advance. Different inspection types are not carried out on the same date. Not available for Warranty Expiry Inspections. The discount does not apply to any optional add-on services that are chosen (T&Cs apply).

Customer Referral Reward Scheme

We welcome existing customers to refer new customers to us and that's why we will reward you for a referral with £50 cashback or a voucher of your choice and to the same monetary value to say thank you!

 

This scheme is separate to our Neighbours' Discount Scheme because you are referring a customer to us at a later date after we've already carried out an inspection on your home. You can still participate in the scheme if you've purchased a Bundle Inspections Package or participated in the Neighbours' Discount Scheme (T&Cs apply). 

 

Neighbours' Discount Scheme

 

​Neighbours often both want to book inspections on their new homes. We can carry out two inspections on the same date and that's why we offer a 10% discount to neighbours who live on the same development (including consortium developments with different developers) and who book simultaneous inspections for the same date.

 

The discount does not apply to any optional add-on services that are chosen. The inspection times will be different and the number of snags that we identify during each inspection may also differ for each property (T&Cs apply).
